Wedding receptions are no longer the typical dine and formal speech style that used to be the norm.
With the rise in relaxed, casual, fun weddings, bride and grooms are wanting to inject a fun spin on their wedding day. Here are some ideas to help create a unique Big Day;
Fun guest book ideas;
A unique guest book is a fun way for your guests to be involved in creating a gift for you- message in a bottle, sign a quilt, message on a globe, sign a puzzle piece or canvas art,
Cute and quirky table numbers- chalkboard signs, stamped hessian or special numbers that mean something to you both.
Photobooth backdrops with fun props or a polaroid for guests to take pics and write their message in a book for you as a keepsake after the big day.
Sparkler send off! These are becoming more popular as you make your grand exit- have guests stand in rows with sparklers overhead for the bride and groom to run underneath- lots of fun, affordable to do and makes for amazing pics.
Specialty food bar. Lolly buffets, icecream or gelato bar, whisky or cocktail bar, popcorn and other fun novelties add a yummy and fun addition to your reception.
Guest mad libs or advice for the couple. Leave these short but fun forms as a fill in the blanks for your guests to fill out. Sometimes the answers are hilarious!

Guests love to read personalised messages and signs throughout the reception- makes for a sweet and personal touch. Such as this chalkboard sign on entry to the reception giving a little story about the bride and grooms life together.

Games are another fun spin, a short quiz with the bride and groom such as the shoe game- your MC asks the bride and groom the same question, backs facing each other such as ‘who snores the loudest?’ the bride and groom have a shoe of each other and must raise the grooms shoe or brides shoe to answer- always a fun game!
