What can we find you doing on your day off/what is your perfect day?
If I’m being realistic, I spend most of my time considering going to the gym (but never actually do), or I’m probably at the beach or I’m convincing myself that I deserve another takeaway meal.
Any hidden talents or party tricks or something you are good at?
I have learnt six languages which I like to bring out every once in a while to impress people haha! Though, if I’m being honest, it all started because I’m super competitive and I wanted to beat my twin who knows four. And now that he’s thinking about learning a fifth, it means that I must learn another…so I’m very talented at being competitive.
Fav TV Series you are watching(or latest fav movie)?
I’m currently in a phase where I obsessively watch psychological docu- series which is weird because I get scared so easily. As for favourites, I can never pick just one so it’s a toss-up between Peaky Blinders (I have the biggest crush on Cillian Murphy), The Blacklist and The Office (which I quote daily).
Coffee or Tea?
Neither. I’m a big fruit smoothie girl. Literally will drink any smoothie…as long as it doesn’t have a vegetable in it.
Cocktail preference?
I’m a beer girl. Plus, would rather get two beers for the price of one cocktail.
Fav sport/activity as a kid?
Soccer will forever have my heart!
Any kids or pets?
Neither! Although I would love to get a dog one day! I’ve already got a long list of potential names ready to go.
What is your favourite place in the world?
I’ve lived in different parts of The Philippines and Darwin. So, being in any of those places would make me happy but if I had to choose between the two, it would definitely be Darwin – I’m so biased towards Darwin!
What is the best concert you ever went to?
I’m a huge concert-goer and an even bigger concert t-shirt collector (honestly, 50% of the reason I even go to concerts). Coldplay in 2024 was absolutely amazing but I have to say Paul McCartney in 2023 wins – mainly because I went with my family
Takeaway night….what’s your go-to fav food?
I get takeaway an embarrassing amount because I’m a very untalented cook. It’s always a toss- up between tacos or satay chicken with fried rice
Early bird or night owl?
100% an early bird. But I do like a good sleep-in when I can get away with it.
What energises you?
Good conversation, a perfect playlist and the thrill of finding a parking spot right in front of where I need to be.
What’s your fav way to unwind after a busy day?
A cold beer while watching a sports game. If my team wins? Fantastic. If they lose? Well…at least I still have my beer.
Your fav thing about coordinating weddings?
There’s this moment right before the guests arrive, when everything is set and I feel this perfect mix of excitement and anticipation. And throughout the wedding, I get to see who the couple really is, not just through their wedding choices but through the people they’ve surrounded themselves with. It’s so heartwarming to be trusted with bringing their vision to life and to make sure they can soak in every incredible moment of their special day.
Oh, and making sure every single chair and table is lined up perfectly. If one is even slightly off, I will notice it and I will fix it. It’s a blessing and a curse and people make fun of me for it.
Whats something you saw recently that made you smile?
I saw a compilation of videos of babies and dogs – probably my favourite combination. They’re just so innocent and ridiculously cute, I couldn’t stop smiling!
